YMCA CEOs and executive leaders from across Alaska, Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington recently gathered in early October for the annual Pacific Alliance CEO Retreat, an important opportunity to strengthen regional partnerships, share innovative ideas, and chart a collective vision for the future of YMCA work throughout the Pacific Alliance region.
The retreat brought together leaders to engage in meaningful discussions about the opportunities and challenges facing communities today. Through facilitated conversations, participants explored ways to deepen the Y's impact, strengthen organizational sustainability, and advance the mission of serving youth, families, and communities across the region.
More than just a meeting, the Pacific Alliance CEO Retreat serves as a space for collaboration and connection. Leaders exchanged best practices, learned from one another's experiences, and identified opportunities to work together on issues that transcend association boundaries. The collective energy and commitment demonstrated throughout the retreat reflected the YMCA's enduring dedication to creating positive change.
A special thank you goes to Jim Kauffman, former Director of Leadership Development at YMCA of the USA, whose exceptional facilitation helped guide thoughtful conversations and meaningful outcomes.
The Washington State Alliance of YMCAs also extends its sincere appreciation to our corporate partners whose generous support helped make this event possible:
Core Health & Fitness
TMI Sustainable Aquatics
Daxko
Their partnership continues to strengthen the work of YMCAs across the region and supports opportunities for leaders to come together, learn, and grow.
As the retreat concluded, participants departed with renewed energy, stronger relationships, and a shared commitment to advancing the YMCA mission throughout Alaska, Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington. The conversations and connections built during the retreat will continue to inform and inspire the important work taking place in communities across the Pacific Alliance for years to come.
Together, we are building a stronger future for the YMCA movement and the communities we serve.
